Perimenopause.com is an evidence-based resource for the millions of women navigating a transition the healthcare system still struggles to explain. We write in plain language about what's happening, why, and what the research actually says.
Perimenopause affects roughly three quarters of women, lasts an average of four to ten years, and is still routinely missed, misdiagnosed, or dismissed by clinicians who received minimal training on it. We built this resource for the women who deserve clearer answers than that.
Perimenopause.com is published by Perimenopause.com LLC, a Minnesota company founded in 2026. Our editorial mission is to help women understand what's happening to their bodies, evaluate their options, and walk into clinical conversations with the information they need to be taken seriously.
We're not a clinic. We don't diagnose, and we don't replace your healthcare provider. We do publish what the evidence says about symptoms, treatments, and care navigation, in language women can actually use.
Every article on this site follows the same review process. Here's what that means in practice.
Content is reviewed against current guidelines from NAMS, ACOG, the Endocrine Society, Mayo Clinic, and the Office on Women's Health. We cite primary sources, not press releases.
We translate medical literature into plain language without losing accuracy. If a study has caveats, we describe them. If evidence is mixed, we say so.
Articles are revisited as new research and guidelines are published. Every page shows when it was last updated.
Content recommendations are independent of any commercial relationship. We disclose what we offer and how we earn revenue.
We don't make up guidelines. Every clinical claim is anchored to one of these.
The fastest way to use the site. Twelve questions, three minutes, completely private. We'll map what you're experiencing to where you likely are in the transition and what to do next.
