Welcome to Perimenopause.com. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Perimenopause.com LLC ("Perimenopause.com," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using perimenopause.com (the "Site") or any of our tools, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Plain-English summary. We're an educational website operated by a Minnesota LLC. We don't provide medical care, prescriptions, diagnoses, or telehealth services. Everything on the Site is for general information. Always consult a qualified clinician for your own medical decisions. We try hard to be accurate but can't guarantee perfection, and our liability is limited to what the law allows.

2. Educational purpose only; no medical advice
All content on the Site — including articles, the self-assessment, downloadable guides, tools, and email communications — is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on the Site is intended as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The Site is not a substitute for professional medical evaluation. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any medication, supplement, or treatment, or making any decision that may affect your health.
3. No clinician-patient relationship; no telehealth
Using the Site does not create a doctor-patient relationship, clinician-patient relationship, or any professional fiduciary relationship between you and Perimenopause.com or any of our contributors. We are not licensed healthcare providers. We do not currently offer telehealth visits, prescribe medication, dispense or fulfill prescriptions, or operate a pharmacy. If we offer such services in the future, those services will be governed by additional terms that you would separately review and accept.
4. The self-assessment
The Is This Perimenopause? self-assessment is an educational tool designed to help you recognize patterns in your symptoms and have more informed conversations with a clinician. It is not a clinical diagnostic instrument, screening test, or validated medical questionnaire. Results, reports, and any suggested next steps are general educational content, not a diagnosis or treatment plan.
5. Accuracy of information
We make a good-faith effort to keep our content accurate, current, and grounded in evidence (including positions from the North American Menopause Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Endocrine Society, and similar bodies). Medical knowledge evolves, and we cannot guarantee that all content is free from errors or reflects the most recent research at any moment in time. Please verify anything that affects your health with a qualified clinician.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, illustrations, logos, downloadable guides, the self-assessment tool, and the underlying code — is owned by or licensed to Perimenopause.com LLC and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may:
- View and print content for your personal, non-commercial use.
- Share links to our pages on social media or with others.
- Print our free guides and tools for personal use.
You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, republish, or commercially exploit our content without our prior written permission.
- Create derivative works from our content.
- Use any of our content to train machine learning or AI models without our prior written permission.
- Remove copyright, attribution, or other proprietary notices.
7. Acceptable use
By using the Site, you agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, our infrastructure, or any account.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or any associated servers or networks.
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access, copy, or harvest content without our prior written permission.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
8. Third-party links and references
The Site may include links to and references for third-party websites, including medical authority sources and resources for further reading. We provide these for convenience and information. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content or practices. Your interactions with any third party are between you and that third party.
9. Email communications
If you provide your email address, you consent to receive the content you requested and related educational email. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle your email and assessment data.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perimenopause.com disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Perimenopause.com LLC, its members, contractors, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or reliance on any content, including without limitation damages related to health outcomes, medical decisions, lost profits, or loss of data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded as a matter of law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Site or these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Perimenopause.com LLC, its members, contractors, and contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Site, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 14, any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wright County, Minnesota, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Informal dispute resolution
Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at support@perimenopause.com and try to resolve the dispute informally. We will do the same. Most disputes can be resolved this way without the need for legal action.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or sent by email. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Perimenopause.com LLC concerning the Site.
